Ingredients
- Chicken fillets — 2 pcs
- Broccoli (raw) — 0.5 pcs
- Bell pepper — 0.5 pcs
- Hard cheese — 100 g
- Egg — 1 pcs
- Sour cream — 3 tbsp
- Salt — 1 tsp
- Oil for frying
Steps
- Place the raw broccoli in a blender and pulse in short bursts until it is coarsely chopped (crumbly); transfer to a mixing bowl. Pulse or grate the hard cheese and add it to the bowl.
- Finely chop the bell pepper and finely chop the chicken fillets by knife (do not grind); chopping the chicken rather than mincing helps the patties stay juicier. Add both to the bowl with the broccoli and cheese.
- Add the egg, sour cream and salt to the bowl and mix everything until evenly combined and the mixture holds together when pressed.
- Shape the mixture into patties of the desired size using your hands.
- Heat a thin layer of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties in batches, turning once, until golden on both sides and cooked through.
- Transfer the cooked patties to paper towel to drain briefly and serve warm.
