Flat Top Carne Asada Fries

Flat Top Carne Asada Fries

A Southern California favorite, carne asada fries start with a citrus marinated steak cooked hot and fast. The steak is sliced then served over double cheese fries. Don’t worry—there’s no deep frying involved; instead, frozen fries cook up to crisp perfection on the flat top. Though you can get away with marinating the steak for less time, its flavor is best if it soaks for at least 8 hours.
