Ingredients

  • flour — 400 g
  • salt — 1 tsp
  • water — 200 g
  • oil — 40 g
  • vodka — 20 g
  • minced meat — 300 g
  • salt — 1 pcs
  • pepper — 1 pcs
  • onion — 1 pcs
  • garlic — 2 pcs
  • water — 100 g
  • herbs — 1 pcs

Steps

  1. In a bowl, sift 400g flour and add 1 tsp salt; mix with a spoon.
  2. Create a well in the center, pour in 200g water, 40g oil, and 20g vodka; stir to form dough.
  3. Knead dough until elastic and non‑sticky; wrap in plastic and let rest for 20 minutes.
  4. For the filling, combine 300g minced meat with pre‑blended onion and garlic; season with salt and pepper.
  5. Add 100g water and mix well until the filling is cohesive.
  6. Divide the rested dough into 40–50 g portions and shape each into a round disc.
  7. Flatten each disc to a thin circle; place a spoonful of filling in the center.
  8. Fold the dough over the filling and crimp the edges to seal.
  9. Heat a deep pan with oil until hot; fry the turnovers until golden brown, turning them occasionally.
  10. While frying, drizzle a small amount of hot oil onto the other side to create more bubbles.
  11. Remove from oil, drain on paper towels, and serve hot.
