Little doughnuts like these are found in many bakeries in France. They are a much-loved treat! After making these yourself you will find it hard to go back to buying them again! It's a fairly simple bread, the only hard part is shaping the tiny dough pieces into balls.

- For the dough: 250g White bread flour
- Whole milk
- Egg
- Fresh yeast
- Salt
- Caster sugar
- Butter in small cubes or pieces For frying: 700g Vegetable oil
- For crème pâtissière: 6 Egg yolks
- Plain flour
- Cornflour
- Milk For the sugar dusting: 200g Caster or icing sugar
