- lbs tender oxtail - for us that was about 10 pieces of oxtails
- white vinegar
- brown sugar
- tablespoon soy sauce
- tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- teaspoons garlic powder
- teaspoon ground allspice
- teaspoon dry thyme
- can white bean, drained - butter beans, lima beans, or northern beans would work
- tablespoons vegetable oil
- white large onion, chopped
- green onions, chopped
- tablespoon garlic, minced
- carrots, chopped
- habanero pepper, seeds out, chopped - any hot pepper would do in a pinch
- beef broth or beef stock - honestly, you do NOT need more cups of beef broth!
- tablespoon ketchup or tomato paste
- tablespoon cornstarch + 1 tablespoon water
