  • green onions, finely sliced
  • leek, finely chopped
  • onion, minced
  • minced garlic
  • minced ginger
  • carrots, julienned or grated
  • sea salt or Kosher salt, divided
  • fish sauce
  • Korean chili flakes gochugaru
  • sugar
  • Optional: 1 ½ tsp. salted shrimp sauce
