- bread flour works best, but all-purpose flour will work too
- packet instant dry yeast
- kosher salt
- large eggs
- water or milk
- granulated sugar
- soft, but cold temperature, cubed unsalted butter

- dried and rehydrated in hot water or alcohol fruits
- orange or lemon zest
