Garlic Yogurt Dip

A creamy strained-yogurt garlic dip finished with sesame, parsley and optional dried tomatoes and mayonnaise.

Ingredients

  • Strained yogurt — 500 g
  • Garlic — 3 pcs
  • Sesame seeds — 2 tbsp
  • Olive oil
  • Mayonnaise (optional)
  • Parsley
  • Salt
  • Dried tomatoes
  • Red pepper flakes

Steps

  1. Peel and finely crush or mince the garlic.
  2. In a bowl, combine the strained yogurt, the crushed garlic, sesame seeds, and a pinch of salt; mix until smooth.
  3. Stir in a drizzle of olive oil and mayonnaise to taste if using, then fold in chopped parsley.
  4. If using dried tomatoes, chop them and gently fold into the dip.
  5. Transfer to a serving bowl, drizzle a little extra olive oil on top and finish with a sprinkle of red pepper flakes and extra sesame or parsley if desired.
