CookbookSocial — AI-powered digital cookbook
CookbookSocial keeps your recipes in one digital cookbook, with nutrition details, allergens, shopping lists, translations, and AI imports from videos and websites.
Turn cooking videos and websites into recipes with AI
Paste a public link from YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Threads, or a recipe website. CookbookSocial turns it into a structured recipe with a title, ingredients, step-by-step instructions, cooking time, servings, and sub-recipes, plus a link to the original source.
The AI pieces a recipe together even when it is scattered across the caption, comments, and voice-over. No more rewatching videos, taking screenshots, or bookmarking links.
Over a million recipes to search
Search CookbookSocial’s built-in database of over a million recipes from cooking websites, YouTube, and the community. When you find a recipe you like, the Import button adds it to your cookbook.
With Premium, smart search finds recipes by the meaning of your query, not just by exact word matches.
Your digital cookbook
Imported recipes and your own live in one account. Create recipes by hand, edit them, and organize them by category. You decide which recipes stay private and which ones become public.
The free plan holds 50 recipes, and you can buy extra space; Premium has no limit. Measurements can be metric or imperial, whichever you prefer.
Calories, allergens, and dietary preferences
Recipes show total calories and calories per serving, allergens, and dietary preferences, so it is easier to choose dishes that suit your taste and your diet.
The ingredient calorie reference is open to everyone. With Premium, it also includes a calculator: build a dish from ingredients, enter the weight of each one, and get an estimated calorie total.
Shopping list and menu planner
Add a recipe’s ingredients to your shopping list with a single tap. You can email the finished list or copy it into a messaging app.
The menu planner (Premium) helps you get ready for a holiday or a get-together. Create an event menu with a date, add recipes, and get one combined ingredient list. You can add the event to Google Calendar, Outlook, or your phone’s calendar.
A community of cooks and creators
The home page features a feed of recipes from other cooks. Like recipes, leave comments, follow authors, and save other people’s recipes to your cookbook with credit to the author. When your recipe is ready, publish it and share a page with its photo, ingredients, and steps; these pages look good in search results and link previews.
Food content creators turn their videos and posts into complete recipes that followers can easily read, save, and cook. The link to the original source keeps your authorship clear.
Recipe translation into 20 languages
CookbookSocial is available in 20 languages, and you can translate any recipe without changing the original. The translation stays linked to the same recipe and its source, which makes it easier to cook from recipes written in other languages.
Free or with Premium
Your cookbook, the feed, search, the calorie reference, and recipe quality checks are free. On the free plan, imports and translations use credits, and new users get starter credits.
CookbookSocial Premium removes the limits: unlimited imports, translations, and storage, plus smart search, the calorie calculator, and the menu planner. You can compare plans on the Pricing page.
In your browser, on iPhone, iPad, and Android
CookbookSocial works in the browser and as an app on the App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play. Your recipes, shopping list, and menus are stored in your account and available on all your devices.
Quality and safety
CookbookSocial checks imported recipes for completeness and obvious risks. Still, review the ingredients and instructions before you start cooking.
